About The Position
Python Engineer
We're looking for a Python Engineer to help us grow our data science team's capabilities. The ideal candidate is a python engineer with a solid background in building data-intensive applications, familiar with industrial best practices who is self-driven, motivated, independent, and sharp.
You as a member of the data science team will take an active part in all development phases, including research, design, development, testing and deployment using technologies like Python, Apache Airflow, Kubernetes, BigQuery, Clickhouse and more.
Requirements
You’ll be a great fit if…
● Strong Python programming skills and high adoption of best practices
● Knowledge of SQL and analytical databases (we’re using BigQuery and Clickhouse)
● Data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing expertise
● Familiarity with cloud computing (ideally is to be fluent with GCP)
● Have 3+ years of experience developing with Python
● Fluent with python libraries like pandas, numpy, scipy
● B.Sc or Master’s degree in Computer Science
● You’re a team player, ready to help others meeting aggressive timelines and motivate the team to meet the product deadlines
● Have a readiness and willingness to continuously learn while working
Great if you have them
● Good intuition in Mathematical Optimization problems
● Experience in MLOps and designing data pipelines
